Jagdish Kaur

Podiatrist/Director

Jag graduated in 1993 as a podiatrist and went on to complete her postgraduate diploma in podiatry from the University of Brighton. Following 20 years of working in the NHS including management, she acquired the broad skills essential for podiatry with patient care at the forefront at all times. She has been in full-time private practice since 2017.

Jag has a wide knowledge of all aspects of podiatry with a special interest in nail surgery and is able to provide a variety of options to treat verrucas, including the new addition to the clinic, the K Laser. She has a good knowledge of musculoskeletal problems including the issuing Ritchie braces and other foot orthotics. She has vast experience with dealing with high-risk foot complaints. She works with people of all ages and with people with complicated medical issues.

More recently she has been working at the University of Brighton as a clinical educator of BSc and MSc students. This has encouraged her to keep up to date with changes and advances in the podiatry field. She is registered with the Royal College of Podiatry as well as a member of the HCPC.

Louise

Louise

Podiatrist

I qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002 with a BSc(Hons) in Podiatry. I am HCPC Registered and a member of the Royal College of Podiatry.

I have 15 years of NHS experience doing Routine treatments, Nail Surgery, mentoring student Podiatrists and becoming a Specialist Wound care Podiatrist. I Joined the Private Sector in 2017 so that I could have a better work-life balance- spend more time with my two daughters and continue to enjoy my career as a Podiatrist.

Outside of work, I like to read, go for walks in the park and attend choir practice.

Vince

Dr Vince Zevallos Herencia

Consultant Musculoskeletal Podiatrist

I am a collaborative, enthusiastic, and research driven clinician with a background in Podiatry and Bioengineering, including undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Podiatry and a PhD in Bioengineering. My doctoral research focused on the development of innovative foot orthoses, providing me with expertise in novel materials, design, data management, and manufacturing processes.

My professional interests span service development, integrated care, the at-risk foot, biomechanics, materials science, physical therapies, and podiatric surgery. Having worked across a range of private and public healthcare settings, I have developed a broad understanding of lower-limb services and the importance of delivering effective, evidence-based, and patient-centred care.

I value collaboration and work closely with healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and industry partners to develop strategic partnerships, support innovation, and implement service improvements that enhance patient care. My clinical practice is underpinned by a strong commitment to research, education, and translating evidence and innovation into meaningful improvements in healthcare.

I also have a strong passion for languages and a deep appreciation of cultural diversity. This has enriched my clinical, teaching, and academic practice, enabling me to consider cultural and environmental factors when communicating with service users and professional colleagues. I have experience engaging with diverse clinical, academic, and external audiences through national and international meetings, collaborations, teaching, and professional activities.

Karen Fawcett

Physiotherapist

The Physiotherapy Centre – Watling Street has been established in Gillingham for the last 14 years, initially as a satellite to its main hub in Sittingbourne and now as an independent clinic. I joined The Physiotherapy Centre group in 1998, soon after which I became a partner, then sole owner and have now come full circle to be a sole trader, having built up and now sold a successful and very reputable main clinic.

Unbelievably, I am now over 40 years qualified as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. I have worked in the NHS, military rehabilitation units and in private practice and have a wealth of experience in the treatment of all adult MSK conditions and injuries, including muscle, tendon, ligament and joint injury, rheumatological conditions, arthritic conditions, pre-op screening and post op rehabilitation, headache and spinal injury and problems.

I believe that working WITH you, the patient, listening, understanding and tackling the source of the problem is a far better approach, if possible, than just treating the symptoms. I am a ‘hands-on’, manual physiotherapist, but I do advise and encourage home exercises and self-help measures.

Living your life in pain that is overwhelming, relying heavily on pain killers and taking over your enjoyment of life should never be the only option. Manual Physiotherapy combined with exercises and self-help measures can help you take back control and allow you to get on with life.
