By Bus
The A2 Watling Street is supplied by regular buses:
Numbers 116, 120, 121, 132 and 700 all supply this route.
Bus stops are located near the practice with pedestrian crossings allowing a quick and safe 2-minute walk from the practice.
By Car
There is free parking on the clinic side of the road, on Cleave Road and on the lower half of Malvern Road. Free parking is also located behind Camping International on Osprey Avenue. If you park here there is a walkway opposite Montrose Avenue which brings you out by the Post Office and Camping International. There is a pedestrian crossing here where you can safely cross. Turn left and the clinic is a minute walk from the crossing. Please note Watling Street and the top of Malvern Road are restricted to 30 minutes only.
Disabled Parking
For patients who have difficulty walking far, you can park outside the clinic and display your disability badge for up to 3 hours. Alternatively, there is space outside the clinic for a car or taxi to pull up and drop you off safely.
Patient Catchment Area
I have patients who come from in and all around the Medway Towns: Gillingham, Darland, Wigmore, Parkwood, Rainham Mark, Twydall, Lower Twydall, Rainham, Lower Rainham, Grange, Otterham Quay, Hartlip, Stockbury, Newington, Upchurch, Sittingbourne, Iwade, Luton, Hale, Lordswood, Weedswood, Farthing Corner, Capstone, Hempstead, Bredhurst, Boxley, Maidstone, West Malling, Aylesford, Burham, Blue Bell Hill, Borstal, Rochester East Ward, Walderslade, Princess Park, Chatham, Brompton, St Marys Island, Upnor, Wainscott, Hoo, Cliffe Woods, High Halstow, Rochester, Strood, Cuxton, Hartley and Longfield.
Disabled Access At The FootCare Clinic
Unfortunately, the clinic is not easily accessible for wheelchair users. There is one large step up into the practice but once you are inside access to all the rooms is completely flat. If necessary there is a handle to assist you with the step just inside the door. If you would like further assistance with the step please ring the intercom and one of our staff can bring a half-depth step out and help you into the clinic. We will be improving access in the near future.
