Louise

Louise

Podiatrist

I qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002 with a BSc(Hons) in Podiatry. I am HCPC Registered and a member of the Royal College of Podiatry.

I have 15 years of NHS experience doing Routine treatments, Nail Surgery, mentoring student Podiatrists and becoming a Specialist Wound care Podiatrist. I Joined the Private Sector in 2017 so that I could have a better work-life balance- spend more time with my two daughters and continue to enjoy my career as a Podiatrist.

Outside of work, I like to read, go for walks in the park and attend choir practice.

Vince Zevallos Herencia

Podiatrist

I am a collaborative, enthusiastic and research driven clinician who strives to find and promote innovative teaching strategies, aiming to create a comfortable environment that facilitates learning and communication.

Having a passion for languages and an understanding of different cultures has helped develop my clinical and teaching practice, not only considering environmental but also cultural aspects when communicating with service users as well as with broad clinical, academic and external audiences in national and international meetings.

After completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Podiatry at the University of Brighton, I received further training in different assessment tools for both patient care and research, with extensive exposure to design and manufacture of foot and ankle orthotic devices. I also have experience using various tools and methodologies for orthotic management, evaluation and manufacture including F-Scan analysis, FE modelling, Podotech Elftman, Microgate, GAITRite, CAD CAM and CNC cloud-based systems.

My exposure to a variety of settings both in the private and public health sectors, have given me a good insight of lower limb services. I work alongside many brilliant health care professionals, academic and industry partners to effectively deliver services through strategic partnerships, implementing changes to improve patient care.

My particular areas of interest are Clinical development, Integrated care, The At Risk Foot, Biomechanics, Materials Science, Foot Orthotic design/manufacturing and Podiatric Surgery.
